My name is Bolivar (at least online) and I am apparently the only one seeing the obvious here. Right on the invitation (which i suspect was emailed due to need for cost efficiency or poor planning) it says “print and bring this invite”. Not a word about a guestlist nor a rsvp-address. My question to you is, how are you going to know if the people with poor quality prints of your invitation are really “exlusively invited” or if they are victims of the failed psychiatry-reform in Sweden having been given a handout by yours truly by the Östermalms Torg subway station?
My point is, that Mias readers are probably more inclined to buy some clothes at 20% discount and will show more appreciation than anyone on your guestlist. My suggestion is that you stop writing stickuptheass pressreleases on swedish blog forums. In case you are not swedish (which really is the only acceptable explanation for the english letter) now you have been warned. Thats badwill.

I think badwill is a great understatment of above. If your marketing department screw up their job, let them take the fall and not the customers. Especially since Urban outfitters are new in Sweden, and as we all know - first impressions last! I work in marketing communications for a retail chain and what you do when you have fashionistas reading blogs showing up at your door, you give them the discount, smile and say - Welcome back, I just love the dress you bought, nice pick. See you!
What happened when I came to your door - all I got was a sorry, and the person about 10 years younger than me, did not take any responsibility, blamed some international other unknown person…
I say - Grow up, and take care of your customers or somebody else will.
I even skipped my gym appointment to go downtown for your event. Bad decision. And really BADwill.

Jag tänkte berätta att jag var förbi UO med den inbjudan du postat här, och som det står ovan blev man inte insläppt eftersom det var gästlista. Dock så blev jag lovad 20% rabatt vid ett köptillfälle t.o.m 10 december. Tjejen som stod där skrev sin signatur på flyern för att det skulle vara tydligt att jag hade varit där och så.

De var ju väldigt konstigt, jag fick ju detta e-mailet till min inbox & jag tror knappast att jag stog på någon “exklsiv gästlista”. Riktigt ruttet av Urban Outfitters om de skickar falska mail till sina kunder…
